31 participants joined the first National Meeting for Future Potential Beneficiaries in the frame of INNOVAGRO PLUS project on 13th of May in the area of Ljubljansko barje.
The attendees were mainly farmers interested in the benefits of the cooperation, especially when launching new products on market.
43 participants joined the second National Meeting for Future Potential Beneficiaries organized on 17th of May in the area of Ljubljansko barje.
The attendees were representatives of Chamber of Agriculture and forestry of Slovenia, 8 regional Institutes of agriculture and forestry, faculties, Ministry for Agriculture, Ministry for Environment and spatial planning. The focus of the second event was to raise awareness among the representatives of the most important national contact points in agrifood sector about the benefits of territorial cooperation and networking.
The first part of both events was devoted to the presentation of Potenza event, presentation of cooperation possibilities and presentation of past achievements – project results (INNOVAGRO Transnational Cooperation Network and VIBIEC platform).
The second part of the events was a study visit to selected farms in the area of Ljubljansko barje for the demonstration of biodiversity supporting agricultural practices. The adopted practices enable the increase of local populations of selected bird species, pollinators and the grassland biodiversity.
Both National Meetings for Future Potential Beneficiaries were very important for networking and exchanging the experiences among the participants.
